JOB DESCRIPTION: Norton Hospitality Group (A division of Norton Healthcare Staffing & Recruiting) is looking for a maintenance worker in the Matthews area. This position is hiring ASAP with more shift details to come. The pay rate is $20/hr. ***COVID VACCINE REQUIRED*** ** FLU SHOT REQUIRED** GENERAL JOB DUTIES: *Demonstrates the ability to document data in required logs to maintain the department's compliance with policy and procedures as well as regulatory requirements. *Demonstrates the ability to perform all tasks assigned in a timely manner with minimal supervision *Is able to respond to emergency maintenance needs in prompt manor. *Maintains knowledge of equipment and plant functions seeking education that enhances these skills. *Collect and remove all rubbish from the building and the grounds daily. *Make minor repairs, replace light bulbs and report any major repairs or problems on a daily basis to the supervisor. *Perform landscape work, such as mowing the lawn, weeding, planting, and removal of snow, according to instruction of the Plant Supervisor. *Be responsible for the use, return, and care of tools used which have been supplied by the company. *Performs other duties as assigned.
