Description
WATERFORD, CT — Shortly after 8:30 a.m., police told motorists that Fog Plain Road, in the area of Sandy Hollow Road, was shut down because of a water main break which they said "collapsed a large section of the road."
The roadway was closed and as of 11:30 a.m., still appears to be so. Police have asked that drivers find different routes.
NBC Connecticut reported that Veolia Water is making repairs. How long the road will be out is unknown.
