Description
DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — Residents in DuPage County are invited to apply for a 2022 Community Services Block Grant, which aims to help minority and low-income students pursue higher education or formal occupational training.
The scholarship can be used for post-secondary education or short-term education and training. Preference will be given to students pursuing careers in advanced technology or similar careers, an update from DuPage County officials said.
To qualify for the Community Services Block Grant Scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:
Meet income requirements for the Community Services Block Grant Be a DuPage County resident Be enrolled in an occupational training institute or higher education facility that is Illinois accredited Have a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale Students who are currently attending a professional school or pursuing a master's degree should not apply.
