Abuse Prevent Start-Up With NEW ideas! Hello- Twelve years ago I began a journey that I didn't exactly choose. I tried to turn a twenty year bad series of events into something positive by starting a social experiment we call "The Monkey Projects". Based on that research, we have identified a plethora of false beliefs about the topics of abuse and bullying. The conclusions are well confirmed and rampant even among advocates and mandated reporters across the country. We believe the national mental health crisis can be curbed drastically by confronting these issues, especially among professionals. Our goal is to prevent abuse by clearing up simple misunderstandings about the mentality and behaviors with structured education beginning with adults who deal with it as their career so they have the knowledge necessary to help prevent it from happening. We feel that if it were being treated as criminal, which it is, instead of as a private family problem the perpetrators may be more likely to control themselves. That's only one example from a long list of false beliefs on these topics. We are looking to incorporate investors and volunteers who can get involved at different levels depending on their availability and what they bring to the table.
