DIRECT CARE PROFESSIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Direct Care Professional (DCP), you are responsible for meeting the emotional and physical needs of the clients served at Arthur's Senior Care. Direct Care Professionals at Arthur's are extensively trained in memory care and are prepared to care for the later stages of Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia and challenging conditions. They are highly skilled at meeting each person’s physical and safety needs, as well their deep emotional and spiritual needs and accompanying clients on a variety of recreational and leisure-time activities. DIRECT CARE FLOAT JOB DESCRIPTION: Direct Care Floats have the opportunity to do the same work as our traditional DCPs but instead of being placed at one home, Floats are trained to work shifts at all ACR and Arthur's Senior Care locations. Floats receive their schedules 1 week in advance, can be part-time or full-time, and receive a higher hourly starting wage. WAGES, TUITION ASSISTANCE, BENEFITS : Arthur's Senior Care offers paid training to their employees. Once training is completed, employees receive NEW HIGHER WAGES starting up to $20/hr depending on the position and when you are working. There are numerous opportunities to advance within the company that are accompanied by pay increases, and raises are offered starting at 1 year of employment. Part-time Direct Care Professional Weekday (Day/Eve) $14.00/hr *Weekday (Awake Night) $16.00/hr **Weekend (Day/Eve) $16.00/hr **Weekend (Awake Night) $18.00/hr Full-time Direct Care Professional Weekday (Day/Eve) $16.00/hr *Weekday (Awake Night) $18.00/hr **Weekend (Day/Eve) $18.00/hr **Weekend (Awake Night) $20.00/hr Part-time & Full-time Direct Care Float Weekday (Day/Eve) $15.50/hr *Weekday (Awake Night) $17.50hr **Weekend (Day/Eve) $17.50/hr **Weekend (Awake Night) $19.50/hr *The Awake Night pay rate applies between the hours of 10pm - 6am **Effective 5/22/22, ALL Direct Care Professionals and Direct Care Floats will see a $2.00/hour increase for weekend hours (hours worked between 2pm on Friday through Sunday at 10pm). TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM Part-time and full-time employees who are enrolled in college and working toward a degree can earn up to $2,000/yr towards tuition and other qualifying expenses.
