We are looking for a small to medium-sized kind, smart, interactive hopefully cute dog. Healthy is necessary, mature is fine. My mother's dog, much loved, was just diagnosed as terminal. Mom is 96, still active and all there. But she doesn't know the terminal nature of her beloved. The news will be a hard blow. We want to find her another dog before she does.
