Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati: Due to pedestrian safety concerns, underage riding and criminal activities, the city of Cincinnati has implemented a new curfew for electric scooters within the city limits. The e-scooters will be programmed to run between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Electric scooters are a popular mode of transportation for those in the downtown area and in nearby neighborhoods. (WLWT Cincinnati)Taste of Cincinnati announced this year will mark the largest selection of restaurants and food trucks in the food festival's history. The event will take place on May 28 and 30 on Fifth Street and will include 36 restaurants, 18 food trucks and more than 300 menu items, plus beer and entertainment. Spencer Mapes, Lead Events Manager for the event, said that this year saw a record number of applicants and that everyone is excited about returning. (WLWT Cincinnati) Mason High School students asked their school board to issue a resolution opposing Ohio House Bill 616 which limits class discussion on race, diversity, inclusion, gender identity, and sexual orientation. The issue arose at the school board meeting Monday night. District Spokesperson Tracey Carson said the board is "concerned" about the bill that "appears to be another example of Columbus searching for a problem that simply does not exist."
