Here's a truth for you. Virtually all natural gas pipelines from northern Alberta reversed their direction of flow decades ago, and several new ones were built to feed the Oilsands refineries to produce the fossil fuels coming from the "sands". Add to that the fleets of buses, trucks, heavy equipment used every day to fuel this artificial economy and you have the height of bizarre. Probably more BTU's consumed to produce a barrel of oil than is realized - all to make oil company shareholders richer, not to produce required energy. We are burning more energy than we are producing. No wonder the climate is in crisis.
