BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Candidates for the Beverly Hills City Council will participate in a series of debates hosted by community organizations.
Come June 7, 11 candidates will vie for three open Beverly Hills City Council spots. Three incumbents will fight to keep their spot on the council: Bob Wunderlich, Lester Friedman and John Mirisch.
Candidates on Wednesday and Thursday will debate local topics at a forum hosted by the Beverly Hills North Homeowners Association and The Municipal League of Beverly Hills. Both nights of the forum will be in the Beverly Hills City Council Chambers at City Hall, which is located at 455 North Rexford Drive, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Candidates will come face-to-face again on Tuesday at a forum hosted by the Southwest Beverly Hills Homeowners Association in the Beverly Hills City Council Chambers. Candidates will have the opportunity to directly address senior residents' concerns at a forum on May 9 with the Roxbury Community Center, 471 South Roxbury Drive.
All upcoming forums will be broadcast live on the city of Beverly Hills' website.
