PEABODY, MA — Route 1 in Peabody reopened after workers spent several hours clearing a wet cement spill that closed the northbound side of the highway. Massachusetts State Police are warning drivers to seek alternate routes and expect residual delays through the afternoon commute. The spill occurred near Forest Street in Peabody.
