Press release from the University of Alaska Anchorage: April 25, 2022 The College of Health (COH) is at the forefront of educating health professions students and the healthcare workforce in Alaska. COH is seeking a dynamic individual with clinical simulation expertise to lead healthcare simulation programs throughout Alaska including rural and remote communities. The incumbent oversees a team of simulation specialists who work with University faculty and community partners to develop and deliver simulation based clinical training. Target audiences include undergraduate & graduate students, practicing professionals, educators, and faculty from all healthcare disciplines. The incumbent will lead development, delivery, and expansion of interprofessional curricular and co-curricular activities in which students and health workers from two or more professions learn with, about and from each other to enable effective collaboration and improve health outcomes.
