MONTGOMERY, AL — The Alabama League of Women Voters on Tuesday, April 26 will host a candidate forum for the 2022 Republican Party Primary Secretary of State election. Click here to subscribe to our free daily newsletter and breaking news alerts. The forum will begin at 6 p.m. in the Farley Auditorium at the Alabama Department of Archives and History in Montgomery. The event will also be broadcast via Facebook Live. Four Republican candidates have confirmed they will participate in the forum: State Rep. Wes Allen, State Auditor Jim Zeigler, Christian Horn, and Ed Packard. Party primaries in Alabama will be held Tuesday, May 24, with possible runoffs set for June.
