Firefighters Fight Blaze At Waterford Home

WATERFORD, CT — Firefighters were on the scene of a blaze for three hours early Wednesday morning in response to a structure fire with an explosion. Fire officials said all occupants safely evacuated the home. New London Fire Department and the Submarine Base fast teams were also on the scene of the 3:05 a.m. emergency. The fire is under investigation.
