We are a family-owned company that has been providing San Diego’s private and sportfishing fleets with premium live bait for over 70 years. Join our team and enjoy a dynamic and exciting job that lets you work outdoors on or near the waterfront, with operations running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week located in Mission Bay, and San Diego Bay.
Functions may include, but are not limited to, the following: perform a variety of routine manual work. Maintenance, repair, and construction of bait receivers, facility and equipment repairs. Operate and maintain a variety of construction materials, maintenance equipment, and power tools. Serving live bait fish to customers, operation and maintenance of skiff, outboard motors, generators and other equipment.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
On a continuous basis walk, stand, bend, crouch or stoop for varying periods of time; use hands and fingers to grasp tools. Ability to lift or carry weight of 60 pounds. Work is performed outdoors on or near the ocean with exposure to a variety of weather conditions while working on our outdoor floating facilities and/or warehouse shop.
Our sales operations run 24/7. Our maintenance operations run Mon-Fri. Positions available include day and night shifts with hours ranging from 12, 10 and 8 hours. No experience necessary. We will train. VETERANS WELCOME! Must be able to lift, pull, bend and carry up to 60 lbs and walk over uneven and buoyant surfaces.
