My dog Beau is about 4 years old, and he is a neutered cattle dog mix. I got him from the Maricopa shelter when he was 11 weeks old. The past year and a half I have had to live with my grandparents because my mom had to suddenly move away. He has to be locked in my bedroom all day when I am at work or in class. He does not do well with my grandma’s dogs because they are small, territorial dogs that Beau won’t get along with. He only gets to go outside a couple times a day when I take him on walks or to go in the backyard. I have tried to make this living situation work because I love Beau so much. He doesn’t deserve this living situation. He would do best in a household with no other animals or children (I don’t know how he is with kids). I think he would do good with other dogs if they are calm and not very interactive. He is a very active, happy dog and just wants love. He loves to play ball and do any physical activity. He will never get tired. However, he is very good and not too hyper when he is inside. I love him and would do anything for him.
