WOODWARD TAHOE The Lift Mechanic is responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly lift inspections and maintenance. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, a desire to learn and grow in communication and necessary on the job skills. The ability to learn and follow simple and complex maintenance and operations procedures. The ability to learn how to document work completed both analog and digitally. You will have many opportunities to learn new and rewarding skills. You will encounter many challenges and be trained how to properly address them. The expectation for performance is the efficient and effective ongoing maintenance of the lift infrastructure at Boreal Mountain Resort and Soda Springs Resort so that all operations are able to follow the resort plan. Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities: • Performs lift maintenance duties including, but not limited to: line and terminal repair, maintenance and trouble-shooting; high and low voltage electrical; and non-destructive testing. • Maintain, repair, inspect and documents all aspects of ski lifts for permitted safe operation. • Ensure customers are treated courteously, safely, and efficiently. • Carries out duties in accordance with Boreal Ridge Corp policies. Specific Job Skills: • Ability to learn how to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals and legal documents. • Ability to learn how to respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. • Ability to learn how to effectively present information to management. • Ability to learn how to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. • Ability to learn how to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
