Hello, this is maxwell "maxxi" the black lab/farm dog mix. We got maxxie 6 months when he was a little pup of 4 months, that make his about 9 or 10 months now. The downfall is that my girlfriends allergies just can't take it anymore. Throughout having maxxi we have learn she is allergic to dog dander. This is extremely hard for us as a family to have to be in this position of having our family dog leave us but it is a necessity for her health. We are asking a very very small rehoming fee, we honestly just want maxwell to go to home that is going to love him as much as we have. He is such a sweet boy and loves people. Pros___ 1. Potty trained for up to 6 hours no problem. I feed and take maxxi out every morning at 4 am and come back from lunch at 1040 am and never have issues 2.Great with children, he plays and runs with my kids everyday. Has never nor will never bite or be aggressive. He is a very "soft" dog 3. Loves his toys. He will play by himself or with you for about 40 minutes max before he sleeps for the next 3 hours. Also is an expert fetcher. 4. Know not to be up on beds and couches. We have trained maxxi very well. He only sleeps on his bed and the floors. He does have a favorite blanket that he will take with him wherever he goes to lay down with. 5. The most important of all, he loves people. He is a family man for sure. His man goal in life is to please his owners. Maxxi is a pack dog, he is not an alpha dog. He is more than happy to just be in the pack. He loves loves! He is one of thos dogs that will be more than happy to just lay on your feet, or cuddle up next to your legs, or even spoon the kiddos while you watch a movie. Maxxi also knows several tricks including sit, lay, up, stay, rollover, and shake. He is honestly one of the smartest dogs I've had the pleasure to call family.
