Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Take a set of drawings for a pre-engineered light gauge truss system and run the entire function, to include labor force, quality control and staying on schedule, from lay-out to completed system · Ability to problem solve · Team player · Acceptable of change · Forecasting of materials, equipment, and manpower · Work closely with the customer in a respectful manner · Understanding a budget and the ability to make changes through-out a project to meet the budget · Use tapes, rulers, lasers, theodolites, and other measuring devices for layout work. · Experience with roofing or the willingness to learn · Erect rigging · Perform related work as required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities · At least five years of metal framing experience and a minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory position · Current Texas driver’s license · Must be able to work overtime as needed · High level of motivation is a must Must be able to pass background check to obtain access to military bases and pass drug test.
