Looking for a cozy home childcare? We are seeking a couple more little friends to join our small crew, along with my 9 year old homeschooler. Located in Hutto, close to 130 and 79. -BA in Early Childhood Education. -Homeschooler for 25 years. -In childcare for 27 years. Licensed for total of 23 years, in WA and here. Now a Listed Family Home. -Many references from past parents and current. -Meals provided -7AM-6PM -12+ months -Kid friendly home with many play areas, a book area, and a great outdoor space with climbers, sand and large motor toys. -My family is Covid vaccinated. Philosophy- The following philosophies are key to my teaching and care style: * Each child individually learns in different ways, at a different pace, by different approaches and at different ages of maturation. * A positive self-concept develops in children who can fulfill their goals, accomplish tasks on their own, and cooperate with others and receive positive feelings from others. * Self-disciplined children can direct their efforts towards fulfillment of their goals. Children learn self-discipline through understanding, commitment, and reinforcement. *Self-reliance is achieved by allowing children to do as many things for themselves as they are capable of but keeping in mind new skills.
