NW Employment Solutions is partnered with a local Property Management Company in Portland, OR and we excited to bring on a Grounds Maintenance Technician to tend to the landscaping and debris removal of rental homes and apartment communities. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines, navigate the city in a full size truck with utility trailer, and take pride in the work they perform to serve the needs of the customers. Responsibilities • Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) • Complete Fence Repairs • Weeding, mowing lawn • Tend to & maintain equipment with small engines. • Remove abandoned property and debris from vacant units. • Seasonal light Ice/snow removal, salt delivery & walkway maintenance. • Notify residents of entry prior to arrival, when necessary. • Submit work reports from the site to document expenses, duties and necessary follow up, if applicable. Skills • Proven experience as grounds maintenance technician with similar experiences • Understanding of workplace safety • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods • Working knowledge of tools, small engine equipment and devices • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills • Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime • Clean driving record to operate company vehicles. $23 per hour DOE If you or someone you know may be interested in this position, please call or text "Grounds" to Erin at 971-604-4983
