Looking for a bass player and drummer for jamming and gigs as a part of a unique jazz group. We are “Ula Vamps and her Midnight Scamps,” and we play jazz standards, old rock and roll, and saucy cabaret jazz originals. We want to find people who will be dedicated, can practice a few times a week (preferably daytime during the week but that is not a deal breaker). And having a sense of humor is a plus as some of the songs we perform are on the silly side. We are just getting started on playing out and will be mostly booking paid gigs, but must be OK with possibly having a gig for exposure or a gig for tips every once in a while. In addition, we perform as a live band for burlesque dancers so you must be OK around that type of performance. Also, there will be an opportunity to help collaborate on the structure of the original songs, if that is something you are interested in.
