Hello all, delete if not allowed. Anyways, my landlord wants me and my family to move out due to "renovating" when really the City of Stockton wants condemn the building due to unsafe living conditions. So, Ive pushed this as far as I can and now we have a court date for May 6th. I have been looking relentlessly for a place for my family and we DID get approved for one but they want almost $5,000 to move in. Ive tried my worker for the homeless assistance program and they say they cant help unless we are literally on the streets homeless. Ive tried Central Valley Housing and they are not answering their phone or emails. Im at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. We are a family of 6 and can afford up to $2000 in rent. I can make payments on deposit if someone will let us. Thank you in advance. Located in Stockton.
