Job description The Hennessey Group is looking for experienced Furniture Delivery & Installation Crew Members. This individual will be responsible for performing the day to day operations of the warehouse including inventory, housekeeping and vehicles. Responsibilities: The Furniture Delivery & Installation Crew Member's primary responsibility is to deliver, pick up, and install housewares and furniture within THG standards and procedures safely and efficiently. -Pull, inspect, and load/unload furniture and housewares on/off company vehicles. -Perform and complete work orders within THG standards and procedures while using the company’s mobile field service/ERP system. -Inspect assigned vehicle daily before and after usage, maintain vehicle log, and report any problems to the operations manager. -Operate all company vehicles in a professional, safe, and courteous manner including utilizing team members to spot when driving the box truck in reverse and parking. -Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle. Maintain furniture, housewares, tooling, and moving equipment inventory and report to the supervisor of any supply requirements to perform daily tasks. -Report to the supervisor of any damaged inventory discovered while performing a service such as during a reset/turn clean, maid service, or delivery/pick-up. -Perform housekeeping duties which include reset/turn cleans, touch up cleans, and maid services and prepare housewares kits as needed. -Product care including cleaning housewares, washing linens, and troubleshooting electronics. -Follow bed bug protocol and procedures. -Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse including furniture, housewares, and equipment. -Evaluate damages and select appropriate methods of repair and/or restoration for furniture. Cleaning of furniture per procedures. -Assemble/disassemble furniture as needed. -Responsible for safety procedures and bring any unsafe working conditions to the attention of management immediately. This job operates in a warehouse and apartment community work environment. This role routinely uses household cleaning supplies and may be exposed to dust, fumes, and gases prevalent in apartment communities. This job requires maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling, bending at the neck, waist, arms, legs, transporting an object, lifting up to 75 lbs., ascending or descending stairs, and ramps. Education/Certification: High School diploma or GED or equivalent Experience Preferred: At least 1 years of furniture moving industry is highly preferred. Experience in property maintenance, or in housekeeping is a plus. Requirements: -Must be over 18 years of age with good communication skills -Must be motivated self-starter with a drive to succeed -Must be able to drive a delivery vehicle safely -Must be able to lift between 50-75 lbs consistently including while climbing stairs & ability to utilize a hand truck/dolly to load boxes and transport up or down stairs -MUST have a valid drivers license, dependable transportation to work every day, a clean driving record and be insurable by company auto insurance -Have an enthusiastic "whatever it takes" attitude toward customer satisfaction and providing the ultimate guest experience -Must be able to offer and implement creative solutions and resolve customer issues -Must have a STRONG attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks Job Type: Full-time Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Paid holidays Company-paid health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Apply in person at: 6404 W.
