Description

Responsible for performing weekly mowing and basic maintenance for residential and commercial landscapes. Duties – • Mow, trim, edge, and blow properties • Identify and complete small maintenance tasks while on-site, including but not limited to hand-pulling weeds and basic pruning • Communicate maintenance and irrigation needs of properties to the Operations Manager • Troubleshoot and maintain mow equipment, including blade sharpening and basic repairs • Help with other maintenance services as needed and winter snow removal • Assist other departments when needed Minimum Job Requirements – Current driver's license Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – • Ability to operate common lawn care equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers • Knowledge of weather conditions and how they relate to lawn care • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions • Ability to use a mobile application to assign and track jobs and products used • Ability to work well with a team Working Conditions – All work with RootsUp involves exposure to a wide variety of conditions – including but not limited to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, wind, rain, loud noises, and odors – and strenuous physical activity – walking for prolonged periods, lifting, pushing, pulling, and digging.
