The ideal candidate will have automotive and/or quick lube service experience but will consider those with a strong mechanical aptitude, and a genuine interest in automotive service. ....We are currently seeking Full or Part Time Technicians at our Morris County locations. Responsibilities As a Lube Technician, you will work in a fast-paced and specialized service environment, and will be responsible for servicing our guests' vehicles and ensuring quality workmanship. Automotive Technician duties include: Changing oil & filter, transmission, coolant, gear box and most other fluids. In addition - filter service, tire rotations, spark plug tune-up, head light & bulb replacement and other minor services and repairs. In addition, candidates must complete all Technician Service Training through Jiffy Lube University. The Automotive Technician is also responsible for keeping the shop clean, safe and presentable. Requirements • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking • Must be able to operate fluid exchange equipment (transmission, coolant, brake) and other specialized equipment & hand tools • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, motivated, and a team player • Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds • Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist • Have a valid driver's license and authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation • We offer up to $17.00 hour (commensurate with experience) • We offer medical benefits, dental, vision, and life insurance • State of the art training and certification recognized by ASE • Paid time off, holidays, flexible hours, great team spirit, and much more....
