The company is a leader with more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, and has developed some of the area’s most popular permanent, seasonal and temporary venues in the city. With the fast growth of the company we are looking to expand and add a full time, in house Assistant Facilities Manager to the team. This position will be responsible for general maintenance and carpentry needed at all locations, preventative maintenance and repairs and be on call for emergency service. The job requires carpentry, painting, basic plumbing and electrical knowledge and experience. Some nights and weekend will be required. Pay range starts at $52,000/per year, bonus package and benefits package. Responsibilities Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs Inspect, maintain and perform maintenance on location Conduct routine inspections of locations and equipment Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs as needed Implement preventative maintenance measures to ensure safe and efficient operations at all locations Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies Response to on call emergencies as set with the team, rotating schedule, does require some weekends in rotation Oversee and hire contractors, vendors and professionals where necessary
