Does anyone remember when Trump was president. The loving meetings with dictator Kim Jong Un. The insults to Nato allies.Remember when Trump tried to badger Ukrainian president Zelinski to find dirt on Hunter Biden. Two impeachments. The president of the United States was a gaslighting, narrcistist, carnival barker. Every day there was a provocative new tweet from the white house. The U.S. president fawned over Vladamir Putin. Remember the daily outrageous statements, then a few days later doubling down on those outrageous statement. And now it's been over for a good while. America voted for someone else. The American presidency did an abrupt reversal. We returned to much missed state of normal. One could even say Joe Biden was boring compared to the previous 4 years. I and many others wanted the boring back in our politics and today the office of president is not the leader of a three ring circus. During Trumps 4 years there were many watching, observing, taking notes. They learned that being outrageous, and contraversial could make a person very popular. Prehaps American enjoys laughing at their politicians. Today there is no shortage of Republicans willing to make fools of themselves in public. Willing to double down today on last weeks stupidity. They learned their lessons well from the master, Donald J Trump. So while the Donald is currently in the background. The circus performances he demonstated have been adapted by the likes of numerous GOP members seeking to make a name for themselves. So the question becomes. Does America want to be entertained by it's elected political clowns. The future will tell.
