Description
My philosophy is "Everything I ever needed to know about business I learned on the sports field." From Behind The Scoreboard, I feature the sports stories that tell us much more than simply who won or lost. These personal and inspiring experiences of grade school, high school, college, other amateur and even pro athletes allow all of us to reflect a little more on what is important in life. ~ James C. Bronx Student Reports To West Point
Jayden Jenkins now is at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He’s a plebe and a football player.
After staring in a local New York City league and then at Stepinac High School in White Plains, Jayden was ready for this next step on the field and in his young life. He got to this point with support from his parents and coaches. Ronald and Lanel Jensen kept him focused on education. His coaches at the Harlem Jets and in high school got him ready for the games.
A number of colleges scouted Jayden, but he said that West Point was the correct fit for his goals in life.
