Description

Rehoming two-year-old munchkin and scottish fold mix cat. He is neutered and incredibly sweet and adorable. My previous roommate/close friend was his first owner, but she had unfortunately passed away in an accident. Her family reached out to me since they couldn't keep him and I adopted him from them at about half the price my friend had paid for him. He's from a breeder and was shipped in from another state, but I don't really know the details. He's been with me for two weeks and unfortunately isn't getting along with any of my previous cats and seems to be scared of my dad. I've also lost my job so I'm financially unable to provide him with better living accommodations. Looking to find a new forever home for him. Please note he is an extremely sought-after and rare breed. He's an extremely sweet and loving cat and I don't believe I can provide the ideal home for him, else I would definitely keep him. Rehoming fee will be the amount I paid to adopt him which is about half of the amount these breeds usually go for. I'm not profiting from this exchange at all. I just want him to go to a loving home that he deserves. When I first got him he had some trouble keeping food down (likely from the stress of a new environment and all the drastic changes), but he's gotten better. He has a healthy appetite and does not appear to be a picky eater. I would recommend the new owner to take him to a vet for general health checkups since I am unaware of when he was last brought in, likely needs updated shots. Very sweet temperament but you will need to be patient with him since he's been through a lot. He's never scratched or bit me, very friendly. Litter box trained. I can take a bit of a loss and provide a small discount if you are a wonderful candidate. Ideally does not have other pets, if you do then he will need to have his own separate space, at least until he's comfortable and used to the new surroundings. He can be a bit skittish so I wouldn't recommend a household with very young children, older kids who are able to read cat body cues and give him space when he's scared are okay. He has absolutely adorable tiny ears and short stubby legs. His coat is very long and fluffy. Cats with both of these traits usually go for 4.5k or more. I also have younger pictures of him available since I was living with my friend at the time she had gotten him. Please contact me for fee amount and if you have any other questions. Not a cheap breed but you definitely won't be able to find cats with these traits for cheaper since I'm only asking for the amount I paid to adopt him. Serious inquiries only since I'd like to get him to his new forever home as soon as possible. When ready to adopt, can meet in a secure public place with security/cameras for both party's safety.
