NCC painting is looking for experienced painters to start painting right away! If you are looking for immediate work painting homes and commercial buildings, we want to hear from you. Our painters are experienced, have high attention to detail and a passion for painting. We treat our painters and crews like family and offer a busy schedule with quick, on-time pay as well as opportunities to grow within an expanding company. PAY RATE: Journeyman painters can average $16-$18+ per hour. Apprentice painters can average $11-$14 per hour. JOURNEYMAN PAINTER QUALIFICATIONS: - Be on the job site Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. - Must have a working and charged phone throughout the day for communication purposes -The ideal candidate will have a sense of urgency, as well as innovative and continually looking for improvements to processes - You have a great attitude, above average leadership skills, above average problem solving skills, self motivated, reliable, hardworking and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from work. - You are 20+ years of age with at least 2-3 years worth of professional painting experience including paint spraying, cut and rolling as well as basic prep and clean up. - Above average communication and leadership skills to ensure deadlines are met as well as customer/contractor satisfaction is met on a daily basis. RESPONSIBILITIES - Work diligently and effectively as part of a growing crew. - Help set-up, prep, paint, clean up and communicate with contractors and homeowners in order ensure customer satisfaction on a daily basis. - Manage your own crew and make sure projects assigned to you meet NCC painting procedure and quality standards. - Properly communicate and work with both apprentices and management in order to ensure deadlines are met. - Ensure that apprentices assigned to you stay on task and help complete projects in a timely manner - Quality check projects assigned to you to ensure apprentices are meeting quality standards and adhering to NCC painting procedures. APPRENTICE PAINTER QUALIFICATIONS: - You have a great attitude, are reliable, hardworking and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from work Monday-Friday. - You are 18+ years of age with at least 6-8 months worth of previous professional painting experience. - Must be willing to show up EVERY day and work hard. - Must have a working and charged phone throughout the day for communication purposes. - Be able to be on the job site Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. - You should be skilled and well versed with various painting tools such as caulking guns, hand maskers, nail sets, palm sanders, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES - Work diligently and effectively as part of a growing painting company. - Assist with set-up, prepping/masking, painting, and clean up as well as assisting the journeyman painter with whatever may come up during the job - Prepare and clean up your job site. - Protect furniture, floors, and other pieces of the structure that do not need paint. - Be punctual and stay on task throughout the day ensuring deadlines are met in a timely manner.
