'''''''''''Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Southeast Washington, D.C. is once again looking for music submissions for the 15th annual Summer Concert Series. The series was started as a celebration of the hospital’s history of using the creative arts in the recovery process, and continues to honor that tradition. It consists of hour-long weekly concerts, scheduled for Thursday evenings from June through the end of August.Clarinet lessons are available via FaceTime, or other video app of your choice. Lessons by video call are surprisingly effective; they are the next best thing to having personal instruction in your home. I have a Music Degree and 25 years' teaching and performing experience. I've won three fellowship awards from the DC Commission for the Arts.My vocals are very much like Steve Perry of Journey, I also sing Zeppelin and Foreigner- I am experienced and have original songs- Just getting back into music after a long lay off Not looking for heavy metal rock- Looking for musicians who are into this style of rock music to rehearse with record and play some gigs out here and there I am going into the studio to record my original music and a Few covers like. Clarinet technique, sight-reading, and Classical/Jazz repertoire are covered in the lessons. Basic music theory is also offered.Say What Again! A recently formed 90s hard rock cover band is looking for a vocalist to share duties with our rhythm guitar player/vocalist. We are currently playing songs from Alice in Chains, Rage Against the Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, The Offspring, Tool, etc. and looking to start booking weened bar gigs soon. Collectively we have decades of experience doing covers and originals.
