Description

Class participants will create a 36x18x30 raised planter box. Each student will be lent tools to complete their builds This course- each student will make one 36"(L) x 18"(W) x 30" (H) Planter box. The planter box will be made with pressure treated wood. Please be advised pressure treated wood can have chemicals that can cause allergic reactions or negative response to an individual. Be advised if you have any symptoms. The participants will be lent tools to create their builds and work together in teams with instructor supervision. Students are responsible for returning all tools lent to them. Each student is required to sign a liability injury waiver form, and media release form. Failure to sign the liability waiver will result in cancellation of the course without refund. Each student will be require to wear closed toe shoes, no large bags in the space and no children under the age of 18 permitted in the space. Youth that are ages 16-17 are able to participant with a paying guardian. Cancellation deadline for this class is May 31st 2022. Any cancellations made after this date are non refundable and only transferrable based on instructors decision. Observation Students (individuals who assist another participant but are not purchasing a ticket to make their own build) are required to sign a liability waiver as well, failure to sign will result in the observer leaving the space and not building. Classes are held in a temperature controlled environment, however it can be warmer in the space with individuals moving around and Oklahoma's hot temps. Dress appropriately to build without exposing excess body parts. No refunds are given for "too hot" purposes.
