The Clermont Police Department is hosting a recruiting day for all qualified individuals seeking a career in law enforcement. Join the Clermont Police Department! Join us on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11am or Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 9am as we are hosting a recruiting day for all interested individuals seeking a career as a Law Enforcement Officer. We are now accepting applications for Certified Police Officers and Police Officer Cadets (Sponsorships) at www.joincpdfl.com. We will start the event by meeting Chief Broadway and introducing you to what we can offer you as a Police Officer with the Clermont Police Department. There will be information on patrol, specialty units including a SWAT and K-9 demonstration, friendly fitness competitions, union and retirement information, and much more! If interested in applying during this recruiting event, we will be offering on site interviews with a possibility of receiving a conditional offer of employment. You must meet the minimum hiring requirements to attend. -19 years or older -Must be a US citizen -Valid drivers license -High School Diploma -Veterans claiming veterans preference must have an honorable discharge -No marijuana usage in the last year -No other narcotics in the last 10 years to include prescription pills not prescribed to you and steroids not prescribed to you. -Favorable driving record -No DUI's in the last 5 years Only 50 seats available per day.
