This course will provide an operations level of information and skills as it pertains to vehicle rescue incidents. Dates: 6/25 and 6/26 from 07:00-17:00 Location: Bridgewater FD (619 Market Street, Beaver, PA 15009) Instructor: John Medred Prerequisites: Age 18 and up, Hazardous Materials Awareness, Vehicle Rescue Awareness (NVRA) Description: This course will provide an operations level of information and skills as it pertains to vehicle rescue incidents. Topics will include: incident management; tools/equipment; vehicle anatomy/design; hazard control; patient access, care, and packaging; disentanglement; extrication and termination. Upon completion of the course, the student will be eligible to complete the PA Joint Rescue Program Basic Vehicle Rescue Examination.
