Wallingford Democrats make Election Closing Arguments

With November 3 just days away Wallingford's Democrats have enlisted Democratic starpower in the last few weeks to make closing arguments for the candidates. Senator Chris Murphy hit the doors in Wallingford with April Capone and Jim Jinks. April Capone is the Democratic Candidate for the 34th State Senate District. ( https://www.aprilforct.com/) Jim Jinks is the Democratic Candidate for State Representative in the 90th District. (https://www.vote4jinks.com/) At a weekend rally at Wallingford's Historic Train Station and Gazebo dozens of canvassers gathered to hear the candidates. Speakers included U.S.Representative Rosa DeLauro,Connecticut's Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz and Democratic Town Committee Chair Alida Cella. To a cheering crowd they spoke and endorsed local Democratic Candidates, Mary Mushinsky incumbent State Representative for the 85th District, Liz Linehan (http://www.lizlinehan.com/ ) incumbent State Representative for the 103rd District as well as April Capone for State Senate and Jim Jinks for the 90th District. Earlier that week Attorney General William Tong made a visit to Wallingford Democratic Headquarters on Center Street. His visit featured an endorsement of State Representative Mary Mushinsky. His remarks included how much he benefited from serving with Representative Mushinsky.
