We sane people are talking too much about the orange man. Yes he is a threat but all the republicans who will likely run against him are possibly as big a threat. Like Desantis, he is modeling his craziness after trump because trump had the winning stragtegy. In the republican party of today, crazy win's votes. We need to be aware that trump is not the only threat to our democracy. All the trump ass lickers who will likely throw their hat in the ring are equally as crazy and even if they are not as crazy, they will not be in a position to control their mobs, nor will Trump be. Trump was just the tool to bring together the scumbags of society the nazis, the proud boys, the oath keepers,... Even thought he helped give them power, he would be unable to control them. He is a useful idiot to them, just as he is and was a useful idiot for the Russians.
As we keep on seeing the republican nuts pick a topic and focus on it and blow it out of proportion with innuendo and lies to fire up the lemmings. Their topics of choice are race, child abuse, gender....
We need to spend more time talking about what democrats, liberals and progressives are about: healthcare, the environment, the availability of jobs that pays a living wage such that the american dream can be realized, access to a college education or trade school (if desired), the ability to walk thru any neighborhood in this country without fearing for your life from the residents or the police.
