I need to find a hard working individual that is Knowledgeable in the construction trades, capable of problem-solving and getting a job done right and pays attention to the details.. I would like someone that knows a little about electrical and plumbing. But not a must. If you can install doors and Windows as well that is a big plus. Doors and windows are big in what I do with remodeling. Having your own tools is a must. (I have been burned in this department) and I will provide very limited tools. If you tell me you can do something I expect you to know how to do it. Most of all we must be productive I am tired of finding guys I want to drink on the job do very little work out and think they’re worth a fortune. I am not looking for someone that I have to sit and teach. I do not mind teaching but.I have very little time to do so. Overall this position is for a well rounded handyman. I stay pretty busy throughout the year I can definitely keep you working. Pay is by the hour most of the time however there are some jobs that I Will give you a set amount to do. Now as far as pay. I pay once a week. I’m not not going to pay by the day or ne getting phone called about someone that does not have gas money or whatever. I’ve been down this road before and that is not how I’m doing things anymore there’s one check that is issued. The work week is Monday to Sunday. Payday is Tuesday each week. If that does not work then it don’t work and you should move along. I am running a business here. I’m looking to start someone out around $18 to $20 a hour. So if you show up to work you’re not working 40 hours a week that is $1600 every two weeks. With that being said and you know your stuff I’m a very fair guy and I will definitely help someone that it takes pride in their work shows concern for the business is respectful to customers and does not bring me drama. Most of the work is in Illinois around Edwardsville. However I will take work in Missouri from time to time.
