The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Honolulu is excited to announce free screening events for the critically-acclaimed documentary series ! Starring writer/director Jinyoung Lee Won and a number of prominent Hawaiian figures of Korean descent, the multi-party documentary series sheds light on the Korean heritage found in Hawaii and seeks valuable life lessons from an exceptional group of Korean Americans who call these beautiful islands their home. The event will feature documentary screening accompanied by discussion with writer/director Mrs. Jinyoung Lee Won and Mr.Harry Kim, the former mayor of Big Island conty.   Big Island (Hawaii) When: Friday, April 29 - 18:00 ~ 20:00 Where: University of Hawaii at Hilo - UCM Room 100 Light refreshments will be served about 30 mins prior to the start of each event.
