Introduction to Handguns May 28th Introduction to Handguns May 28thIntroduction to Handguns is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to your specific handgun action type. This course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot. This course will provide you with the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to safely handle your handgun. All inclusive, we provide gun, ammo, ear & eye protection, & no range fee. 8am - 11am Classroom / Course Outline: Rules for Safe Gun Handling, Handgun Nomenclature, Types of Ammunition, Shooting Fundamentals, Handgun Maintenance. Range: Will be from 2-3 Briar Rabbit Sporting 2949 Granger Hill Rd. Zanesville, OH. 43701. It's an hour drive to Briar Rabbit from Columbus, 70 east all the way. If you can wear a long sleeve shirt, or jacket that can be zipped, or anything that covers your neck is a plus, & No open toe shoes, such as sandals or flip flops while @ the range. This class is hosted by Onyx Gun Club of Columbus, instructed by Veterans / certified NRA Pistol Instructors from Onyx. Our class exceeds Ohio CCW training & requirements to obtain your OHIO CCW Permit.
