-Summer Jam: A Tribute to Watkins Glen 1973 It’s been almost 50 years since over 600,000 descended upon Watkins Glen Grand Prix Raceway in Watkins Glen, New York for the Summer Jam concert featuring The Allman Brothers Band, The Band and the Grateful Dead. The original date was July 28, 1973. Some historians say, at the time, it was the largest gathering in the history of the United States.
Fiddlehead Brewing Company and Nectar's pay homage to this historic concert with three sets of music celebrating the music the Grateful Dead (DEAD SET Tuesday's band led by Zach Nugent), The Allman Brothers Band (Brothers and Sisters) and The Band (Cotter & The Hawks).
This is a family friendly all ages event with doors at 2pm and over five hours of music ending around 8:30 pm.
