Join Nest's resident florists, Mary Schlotter & Krishtia McCord of Harbor Homestead & Co., for a workshop where you will learn innovative floral and container garden design techniques focusing on sustainable earth-friendly practices. Get to choose your own locally grown blooms from our plant bar, featuring hand-picked flowers & plants. Learn how to arrange them into a beautiful garden-style vessel using enviro-friendly materials. Take home your arrangement for your enjoyment or perhaps as a Mother's Day gift. Refreshments will be served during the workshop as we celebrate May and Mother's Day! Harbor Homestead & Co. is a floral & event design studio based in Centerport, NY, and they specialize in garden-style floral designs. All design materials will be supplied: including all plants, the vessel and pot, soil, gloves, etc. The cost of materials is included in the price of the class.
