Come learn about native plants, flowers, and pollinators at the Hither Hills Pollinator Garden!
At the garden we will learn about the importance of native plants, flowers, and pollinators and the different types we can find in New York. We will learn how pollinators impact food production and taste test honey to guess its origin! There is also the opportunity to design a bird feeder from recycled milk cartons to hang in your own yard or leave by the garden to attract birds. Feel free to bring your own carton! This program is recommended for children of all ages and families.
Meet us at the pollinator garden on the west side of the Visitors Center at Hither Hills State Park Campground.
