Celebrate Juneteenth with a black luxury experience. Let the businesses blow, the money grow, and the champagne flow. Experience a night that exemplifies black excellence. The theme for the night is Scraps and Stars: An Ode To Making Something From Nothing. You will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with black millionaires and influencers who are impacting the Hampton Roads community. We have a night full of entertainment planned with a high quality production. You will soak in music from the live band Substance featuring the Jazz Festival opening act, vocal artists Joslyn Best. The profound poet, Nina Brewton will share an original spoken word piece made specifically for this evening. Second half of the night includes a DJ as we party the night away. Caviar and collard greens are somewhere on an original, eclectic menu curated by Chef Carlton Peterson. The tapas style buffet is included in your ticket with drinks being served from a cash bar. As part of the evening, we are honoring 2 black investors, 2 black professionals, and 2 black entrepreneurs. We have a sponsorship from the black-owned, Talley & Twine Watch Company. In our presentation the awardees will receive a customized Talley & Twine watch with their named engraved in the piece. This is an event that you MUST attend.
