THE PEOPLE are in need of musicians for our STEEL PULSE TRIBUTE BAND...Seeking lead and rythym guitars (and you must know how to scratch and skank), Organ and Piano (you must know how to bubble), percussion (not a drummer, we already have one) you will play percussion only but not on the trap set, lead vocals, bassie and saxophone. Males and Females are welcome but you need to know the music of Steel Pulse from Tribute To The Martyrs up to African Holocaust. You will also need to know jazz, rock, soul, rhythm+blues, funk and of course ROOTS, ROCK, REGGAE. Keep in mind that our goal is not to sound like STEEL PULSE but to celebrate and play there music in our own way with a strong sense of freedom of expression and improvisation and to make our audiences dance and be happy...a celebration of life!!! Mature musicians only... meaning yes you can be over 50 but still have that youthful spirit of life that will make THE PEOPLE to want too Wake Up And Live!!!
