Celebrate and Cheer on the Kentucky Derby at the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library We’re off to the races! Grab your hats and head to the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library for the Kentucky Derby. Enjoy Mint Juleps, the fancy hat contest, live music, and cheer on your favorite horse in the Kentucky Derby. We will also be having Kentucky Derby Trivia which supports KVML and the Optimist Club. At the event, you can purchase individual tickets to choose a horse for $5, or for $20 you can get five tickets. You can purchase as many tickets as you wish and at the end of the race, the winners will receive a free t-shirt! Events of the day will run as follows: 2-3 Live music with Photo 51 which include Dylan Noble, Marlow Forbes, Levi Shafer, and Michael Grudis Entries accepted for the Fancy Hat contest through 5:30 Guests can pick their horse to win (ticket in jar to choose) Wanda June's Bar opens for serving Mint Juleps Derby Trivia with the Optimists 6 Hat Parade and voting Race Live Streamed Winners announced for the Race and Hat Contest
