Description

Learn how to have a beautiful and functional landscape while conserving water. Utah is experiencing severe drought conditions and we need to change the way our landscapes are designed and watered. With water restrictions being imposed, many are looking for inspiring ways to remove turfgrass and create a low-water landscape. In this Walk & Talk, our experts will guide you around our water-wise demonstration gardens and discuss the difference between water-wise design and xeriscaping. They will also discuss plant selection, design ideas and irrigation techniques. The event will be held outdoors at the USU Botanical Center and will occur rain or shine. Ticket required for admission. Tickets are non-refundable. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress appropriately for weather conditions as you will be walking through the gardens. $5 discount for USU Garden Members. Use your garden member number (found on your membership card) as the promo code and a discount will be applied. Not sure what your membership number is? Call Neda at 801-399-8201.
