Inviting young Black Muslims in New Jersey to come break Ramadan fast with us at Jannah on Grafton, a community garden. The Black Seeds is hosting an iftar at Jannah on Grafton in Newark, New Jersey for young Black Muslims throughout the state to meet, mingle, and celebrate Ramadan together. Please bring your own prayer rugs. (All donations will be given to Jannah on Grafton). Seating is limited so please register ASAP. About Black Seeds The Black Seeds is a group of Black New Jersey Muslims creating unique spaces that cater to the young African diaspora (18-35), our deen, and our respective cultures. About Jannah on Grafton Jannah on Grafton is an Al-Munir LLC initiative, founded by Bilal and Breonna Walker, to build a stronger, sustainable, and more self-reliant lower Grafton Avenue community through vacant lot activation. Through Newark's Adopt a Lot program Al-Munir LLC will provide twenty local families access to healthy food options, urban gardening advocacy, and sustainable education workshops.
