As a mover or driver (we train), every day is different and every move brings new challenges, but our goal is simple: we are here to help our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack and unpack customer belongings * Load and unload a 26-foot moving truck * Complete paperwork and payment collection * Safely operate the truck * Valid driver's license * Driver candidates must be 21 years or older due to insurance restrictions; mover candidates must be 18 years or older * No experience necessary; we will provide the training needed to be successful * Ability to lift 100 lbs. * Ability to communicate professionally in English * Basic math skills * Experience in fields such as general labor, construction, warehouse, truck driving or moving helpful! Employment Type Full-time Responsibilities Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested Collect payments and issue receipts Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car Skills
