disabled veteran scammed by a "contractor"

Looking for volunteers who have free time to help rebuild what had been left with. This man goes by the name Christian Zuniga and was paid thousands to remodel my house. I have no kitchen, master bath has been torn out except for the shower area. Guest bathroom hadnt been started on. If you can just give information or talk to me about what happened... thats okay. Email me - its welcome. I dont want to post pictures of this because theres not much to show. They did the demo but hadnt removed all the heavy debris off my property and its just in my garage. My 2 elderly (over 70 years old) parents tried their best to make way and get rid of enough of it so someone could fix my garage. This contractor hired bad workers and he himself may have destroyed the garage or one of his workers in order to keep from their tools to get stolen. The guy came back 2.5 months later claiming to finish the job soon and tried to make off with his tools so my dad locked them up for him so nothing gets stolen or misplaced. Im posting this to warn others about paying contractors upfront. They took advantage of my moms age and kindness/gullibility. She hates owing anyone money so she tried to pay what was owed asap... and turned out that they didnt perform any work that can be enjoyed. I am not proud of getting swindled. And my mom sure feels dumb. I need volunteers to help me make my house a home... whether its just moving heavy trash out, helping me sort through old items to throw away or donate... or just someone who can give me or my mom legal advice or even contacts for good contractors that can finish this work after the case goes through small claims. Its a lengthy process and im not sure what we can do to try to get out money back or if we can proceed with the remodel after pictures are taken before and after? To prove someone else worked on it instead???? We dont exactly have that kind of money anymore because of this guy. I dont know why my mom wrote large money checks out to a person that claimed to not have a bank account. How was he going to keep it secure to fund the project and pay his people?? If you cant help, i hope you were at least entertained.
