Join Us For The Grand Reopening of The Cotton Seed Creative Exchange
The ecletic vibe of community and creativity has now returned to Downtown Aurora. This First Friday in May, The Cotton Seed Creative Exchange is inviting the public to celebrate their Grand Reopening at their new location. After being closed since October of last year, it is with great excitement that they will be opening its doors at the wonderful 64 S. River Street Location. This new location is not only larger but also allows for closer parking options for its patrons.
The event will be held Friday, May 6th from 5pm to 9pm. In order to celebrate the occasion, The Cotton Seed Creative Exchange will also offer performances by Jazzsquatch, Simply Connie, and witness the signing and unveiling of the beautiful indoor mural painted by Chicago Artist, Hailey (@hml.design). Guests will be able to browse and purchase the newest addition of merchandise by local makers.
Owner and Navy Veteran, Yvonne Michelle describes the shop as "A space centered around creativity, small business and community." She goes on to say, “Aurora Downtown is an evolving community of businesses, community leaders and up and coming vibrancy of all kinds. We strive and work toward building a destination and experience that work cohesively with the business community and help to be a part of the City of Aurora's Mantra "Moving Aurora Forward."
